It may not feel like summer at the moment but May is when lots of things are happening in Cambridge.
The Fitzwilliam museum exhibition of Tomb Treasures from China Han Dynasty opened on the 5th May and is on until November. We haven’t had a chance to see it ourselves yet, but some of our guests have said it’s excellent – and well worth a visit.
The 39th Cambridge Beer Festival will be held on Jesus Green between 21-26 May. One of the largest beer festivals in the country, a nice way to spend a sunny lunchtime trying a beer or two, with around 200 to choose from.
Imperial War Museum Duxford will hold a Jubilee airshow on the 27th May, Over 60’s get in for free.
Future date. Tickets have just been advertised through The Arts Theatre for the Globe production of Hamet which will be held in the fellows garden of Kings college, a beautiful setting. July 4th – 8th
