Heated floors in en-suites

The heated floors were fitted yesterday in three of the five en-suites that we are rebuilding. The stone tiles have been fitted in the two en-suites in the loft. We’ve gone for Geberit silent flush toilets to reduce potential disturbance for guests and we think these are some of the best designed toilets available with the pan bolted to the Giberit frame it will look like it is suspended in mid-air.

All walls and ceilings in the loft were also painted yesterday and the plasterers  finished the 4th bedroom and en-suite. We will be fitting cornice to this bedroom from Stevenson of Norwich we have picked LN1 from the London range, and is in keeping with our Victorian property. The carpenters will be very busy all weekend 2nd fixing which will let the painter finish the loft next week.

Steve Hartley from Ley Construction http://www.leyconstruction.co.uk  has organised all the different trades and project managed the whole job, he has pulled out all the stops in trying to get this project finished, and we can’t praise his achievements too highly. We have been really impressed with all the different trades he has used and everyone’s committment and level of skill in a very technically difficult build, together with our unrealistic time scale!  We’d like to say thanks to everyone involved.
